Music by John Rose
This CD has been a revelation to me while preparing it. John Rose is a Scottish composer who writes in an individual but 'post-romantic' style - tonal, yet never simple, always full of interest. The album will contain the String Quartets Nos 1 & 2 performed by the splendid Edinburgh Quartet and two finely honed piano works - Essay on DSCH, and Two Preludes and Three Fugues, played by Robert Melling. For release around November 2010.

We are delighted to have signed this superb ensemble from Mexico City to our American office. Featuring relatively little known works by Vivaldi and rarities from Facco, this CD will be available in the winter of 2010. A fascinating interpretation using vihuela and guitarron as continuo gives an exoitc and exciting rhythmic base.

Guido: The Four Seasons
Vivaldi's Suite 'The Four Seasons' is probably the best known of all baroque works - at least a few seconds of it are! - possibly it is also the most mis-used music ever! Here is another 'Four Seasons' also from the 18th century, by the little known but quite exceptional composer G.A. Guido. The work lasts for 66 minutes and contains a wide range of early and baroque styles. Performed by New Chamber Opera Ensemble, it is a revelation and a piece which should be as ubiquitous as it's namesake. For release autumn 2010.201

Piano Music by Max Reger
Pianist Peter Seivewright, busy with ongoing series of music by Galuppi and American composers, has recorded Reger's Sonatine in E minor, and the two sets of Variations and Fugue - on themes of Bach and Telemann respectively. Very substantial works indeed. The CD is expected to be out in the summer of 2010.

Erik Chisholm Piano Music, vol. 6
The fascinating, and totally unique and unmistakable music of Erik Chisholm has been championed by pianist Murray McLachlan, who has recorded in total 9 CDs of Chisholm's music, all of which will appear in due course.
