SWING NOIRE CONCERT AT BRANDON MUSIC
Brandon , VT – Brandon Music is delighted to announce that the Vermont-based group Swing Noire will perform at the Barn on Country Club Road on Saturday, April 17, 2010. Swing Noire is comprised of the musicians David Gusakov on violin and viola, Rob McCuen on solo guitar, Jared Volpe on rhythm guitar, and Jim McCuen on double bass.
The group plays Gypsy Jazz in the tradition of the world-famous Hot Club of Paris - The sound they create is reminiscent of the early days of jazz with their unique take on hot swing in the spirit of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli who created some of the first jazz based outside of the African-American tradition.
Swing Noire appear at Brandon Music, April 17, 2010 at 7:00pm. Tickets can be purchased at by calling 802-465-4071 or by calling in to the office (10:00 am to 5:00pm any day except Tuesday). Seating is Limited, so reservation is strongly advised.
Brandon Music – Vermont's Classical Music Haven - is at 62 Country Club Road, opposite Neshobe Golf Club on Rte 73E. It is the North American headquarters of the international Divine Art Recordings Group. Located in Warren Kimble's former historic red barn gallery, Brandon Music hosts the Divine Art CD Store, Harmony English Tea Room & Music Café, a Vermont art gallery and a gift shop selling vintage English china and other collectibles.
