THE GALLERY PRESENTS ART BY RUTH HAMILTON
Brandon, VT – The Gallery at Brandon Music, host to a recent show of paintings by Linda Durkee, is delighted to welcome another fine Vermont artist. Ruth Hamilton, who lives and works in Poultney, creates deceptively simple but magical images of people and places, many of Vermont, but her new collection include many landscapes of Northern England including Yorkshire and the Lake District, arising out of her recent visit to England. The exhibition is open from October 1 until 30 November, and promises to be very popular and successful with two items already sold prior to formal opening.
The artist will hold a reception at The Gallery on Sunday, October 11, from 3 pm to 6 pm when she will talk about her work. The adjoining Gallery tearoom will be open for an extra hour until 6 as well.
The works on display which are all for sale will also be previewed on the Brandon Music website.
The Gallery is situated at Brandon Music, which also houses the US store and office of the Divine Art classical record label, an English tearoom and sells fine teas, tableware and vintage collectable china from the UK, and is opposite Neshobe Golf Club on Rte 73 East of Brandon and is open 10 – 6 each day except Tuesday.
