THE GALLERY AT BRANDON MUSIC

NEW WARREN KIMBLE EXHIBITION
We are delighted and proud to announce that on 29 May, we opened a new exhibition of art by Warren Kimble, perhaps Vermont's most celebrated artist and one whose iconic folk art has been sold and displayed, and used on goods from furniture to dinner services, in many countries worldwide. In 2009 Warren ceased the production of folk art to concentrate on a more abstract and contemporary style, which is already attracting enormous interest; much of his work is also featured at a special permanent show at Shelburne Museum.

Our Gallery in fact was the home of Kimble's art for several years prior to his moving his studio to the new Brandon Arts Collective so in one sense it is 'coming back home'. All work will be for sale and the show will be continuously updated.

Our first exhibition ran from July 1 to September 16, 2009 and featured the work of Linda Durkee, of Danby,Vermont, who produces vibrant and living paintings, collages, and mixed-media work inspired by the mountains and lakes of her home state.

In October and November, 2009 we featured the show "The Heart of Land" by Ruth Hamilton - a successful exhibition with ten works finding new homes in the USA and the UK
